Here's a new illustration for today's book review in the San
Francisco Chronicle (art directed by my friend and fellow illustrator, Shannon May).
The review was written by Terry Tempest Williams, and describes the beautiful and dreary landscapes of T. C.
Boyle's San Miguel.

I like it how you don´t see the little plants until you look closer at the grassland.

just beautiful becca. miss you, hope you are well!
Yes--sky, water and grass can be so difficult to paint convincingly, and you've done an incredible job. This is a gorgeous painting. x
I love how you captured water, farmland, the sky, and women… what a beautiful combo and color choices. Much Love to you from SD CA
