I'm very excited to announce that my work is featured on Tiny Showcase this week! My island illustration is now available as a 5X7" archival print produced by Tiny Showcase on Hahnemühle German Printmaking Paper. $250 of the profits will be donated to the American Cancer Society. Available for purchase here. What a great way to bring on the new year!
I'm so excited to share this new project that I've been working on independently for some time now. The fantastic Little Otsu has published my new little artbook, "Night Home". There is no strict narrative, rather a collection of dark, dreamy images meant to express the essence of the night time.
Above are some selected spreads.
Limited edition, Saddle-stitched booklet, 16 pages, single color on white 80 lb text, 6" wide x 7" tall. Full-color cover, 80 lb cover stock. Printed in Oakland, CA on 100% post-consumer recycled paper with soy-based inks.
It will be available in my Etsy shop after the new year, but for now you can get a copy here.
I'm addicted to pattern books and look at them whenever I feel stuck in a rut. These two exemplify my two cultural loves- early American folk culture, and Japanese craft culture. "Beautiful business" always satisfies my aesthetic.
(Early American Small Floral Patterns was a surprise gift from a friend and I purchased Modern Patterns of Japan at The Strand, during a New York trip)
